Pre-Tax Profits Power Ahead At UK's Brooks Macdonald

Brooks Macdonald, the UK-listed wealth and financial advisory group, said today that its pre-tax profits stood at £5.68 million (around $8.78 million) in the 12 months to 30 June, representing a 78 per cent increase from the previous year.

Funds under management were £2.18 billion, a rise of 57 per cent, the firm said in a statement. The rise in AuM was greater than that recorded by the industry-wide APCIMS balanced index rise of 12.7 per cent over the same period, it said.
