He has seven years of equity research experience and joins PineBridge from IMC Investment in Hong Kong where he was Investment Associate. Before that, he was a sell side equity analyst at Kenanga Investment Bank (Malaysia).

Jacob Lee and Samantha Kwong both start as equity analysts, based in Hong Kong. Lee will cover ASEAN Equities and joined from Deutsche Bank’s investment banking division where he was an associate.  Before Deutsche Bank, he worked at HSBC in Hong Kong and Lehman Brothers in London.

Additionally Wilfred Son Keng Po, managing director and portfolio manager, who was previously based in the Philippines, has relocated to Hong Kong to oversee ASEAN equities portfolio management.

Rajeev Mittal, PineBridge’s Asia-Pacific chief executive officer, said, “These appointments represent an important milestone in the build-out of our equity team in Asia. Kenneth is a top performing portfolio manager and will be instrumental in PineBridge’s growth strategy in Asian equities, specifically in Singapore. At the same time, the expansion of the research team increases our intellectual capital and sector diversification and will enhance our already superior investment performance.”
