Pictet Asset Management has launched a fund distribution office in Amsterdam, headed by Barbara Kos.

Kos has been appointed as senior manager of Pictet Asset Management for the Dutch fund distribution market. The firm said she has “extensive sales experience” in the asset management field, having worked at various financial institutions, such as Delta Lloyd Asset Management and Fidelity.

“We believe there is an enduring place in the Dutch market for our approach, which is why we have decided to expand our presence in the Netherlands,” said Laurent Ransey, group managing director and head of global distribution.
