Philanthropy Impact, University Of Zurich Create Advisor Course
The programme is an example of how the worlds of impact investment, philanthropy and wealth management advice cross over.
Philanthropy
Impact has partnered with the University of Zurich to
introduce a training course for professional advisors in the
financial sector.
This programme equips wealth managers and financial advisors with
the skills and insights needed for the field of responsible
investing.
The course is called "Understanding Impact and Sustainable
Investing for Client Retention.” It includes a detailed
exploration of impact and sustainable investing principles and
strategies; advice on regulations, and approaches to building
client relationships.
“As the demand for sustainable investment options grows, it is
critical that advisors are well-equipped for values-based
discussions with clients in order to meet their needs, to manage
the risks associated with regulatory compliance issues, and to
navigate both the opportunities and responsibilities this
presents,” John Pepin, CEO of Philanthropy Impact, said.
"This collaboration aims to set a new standard in financial
advisory by integrating ethical considerations into investment
strategies, thereby aligning client's wealth with their
values," Francesca Spoerry, head of training and partnership
at the Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth (CSP),
University of Zurich, added.
(This publication occasionally updates its roundup of courses for those in the wealth management space, such as at the post-graduate, MBA and other levels.)
