Philadelphia-, Atlanta-based firms complete merger

Financial Vision Advisors becomes Atlanta office of RTD Financial Advisors. Philadelphia-based financial planner RTD Financial Advisors has completed the merger of Financial Vision Advisors (FVA), now RTD's Atlanta office.

"This merger brings together people who think about financial planning in exactly the same way," says RTD's chairman and founder Roy Diliberto. "We all believe that financial planning is a roadmap, which leads to the realization of our clients' dreams."

FVA co-founder Michael Smith, agrees. "Our firms have been philosophically aligned for years, and so it made perfect sense to join forces," he says.

Elizabeth Jetton, another co-founder of FVA, will be joining RTD in an advisory capacity.

Jetton and Diliberto are former presidents of the Financial Planning Association, a Denver-based association of financial planner with about 30,000 members.

RTD managed $360 million in assets, mainly for high-net-worth and other individual investors, as of its most recent ADV filing with the SEC.

In addition to Philadelphia and Atlanta, RTD has offices in West Chester, Pa., Mount Laurel, N.J., and Bonita Springs, Fla. -FWR
