Ogier Boosts Partnership In British Virgin Islands

The offshore law firm has added a commercial litigation partner to its BVI office.

Ogier has appointed commercial litigation barrister Brian Lacy as partner within its British Virgin Islands team.

Lacy brings particular experience in civil fraud, insolvency and trust disputes. His appointment brings the law firm’s global partnership to 51.

He has been involved in many significant cases in the British Virgin Islands in recent years and regularly appears in court, the firm said.

“Brian’s wealth of experience makes him a very strong addition to our busy and growing BVI and global dispute resolution teams. Brian’s arrival further complements the business that partner Andrew Wanambwa has been building since he joined Ogier,” said Ogier partner Ray Wearmouth.

Ogier's network of offices covers the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Jersey, Luxembourg, Shanghai and Tokyo.
