Ogier Adds Caymans Funds Specialist In London

The international law firm Ogier has appointed Cayman funds specialist Oliver Godwin as a partner in its London office as it moves to boost its Caribbean offering.

The addition of Godwin, who joins from Carey Olsen in London, signals Ogier’s continued commitment to a full service British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands law offering in a European time zone, the firm said in a statement.

In other recent news, in January Ogier announced the formation of a new investment offering within its private client team and hired Nick Wakefield to head it up. Wakefield previously served as a fund manager at Orchard for three years and for seven at Ashburton.
