OFII To Manage Heptagon EM UCITS Fund

London-based asset manager Heptagon Capital has launched a new Irish UCITS fund with OFI Institutional Asset Management (OFII) as its sub-investment manager. OFII is a subsidiary of OppenheimerFunds

The fund will invest in global emerging markets and will be managed by the emerging markets equity team at OFII, headed by Justin Leverenz.

The new fund offers non-US investors access to OFII’s emerging markets strategy for the first time. This is entirely built from the bottom up, with no hedging or derivative overlays.

Heptagon Capital was founded in 2005 by former Morgan Stanley directors, including Tarek Mooro, Eran Ben-Zour and Fredrik Plyhr. The firm offers services to institutional and ultra high net worth investors.
