Northstar Wealth Partners, the Connecticut-based financial planning firm, has expanded its team with the addition of a new wealth advisor, the Hartford Courant reports.

Ryan Morrissey joined Northstar from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where he was a financial advisor.

“His [Mr Morrissey’s] loyal clients and commitment to professional excellence are a natural fit for our firm," Brandon Marinelli, partner of Northstar, is reported to have said.

Northstar Wealth Partners, which currently has nine partners as well as four staff, provides financial planning advice, strategies and product solutions to small business owners, senior executives, experienced professionals, retirees and wealthy families.
