Northern Trust Names Fiduciary Head For Global Family Office
The group has chosen an industry veteran and former head of trust administration at StanChart to oversee Northern Trust’s fiduciary team in Guernsey.
Northern Trust has named Paul Rogers as head of fiduciary for its Global Family Office group for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Appointed in Guernsey, Rogers will be in charge of day-to-day operations and delivering fiduciary services, reporting to head of GFO for EMEA, Belinda Aspinall.
“His experience and expertise will deepen and strengthen our existing client relationships, as well as bringing new ones,” Aspinall said.
In a career spanning 34 years, Rogers has spent the last 24 years in the fiduciary industry. He was previously deputy CEO and head of trust administration in Guernsey for Standard Chartered Trust, and also spent two decades at The Royal Bank of Canada Trust, also in Guernsey.
Northern Trust’s global family office, launched 30 years ago, represents around 450 families in more than 30 countries, with an average client size of $900 million (£675 million). The Chicago-based financial services firm manages around $1.3 trillion globally across 22 states, from locations in Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
