TAG Associates, a New York City-based multi-client family office, has appointed Jonathan Bergman as managing director.

Bergman serves as portfolio manager to client accounts and conducts investment manager diligence. He will also join the investment committee, reporting to chief executive David Basner.

Bergman was latterly chief investment officer at Palisades Hudson Financial Group, where he has spent the last 15 years and oversaw the strategy and management of client investment portfolios and chaired the investment committee.

At Palisades, Bergman also served as senior client services executive, taking care of asset allocation, cash flow projections and coordination of estate and tax planning.

TAG was founded in 1983 and has over $6 billion in assets under management. It serves over 100 high net worth families.
