Standard Bank has appointed Mark Hucker to the dual role of head of Jersey and chief executive officer of Standard Bank Jersey. He replaces Russell Harte, who has left at the end of a two-year stint.

Hucker joined South Africa-headquartered Standard Bank in 2011 as chief risk officer. With responsibility for the bank’s risk management framework across three jurisdictions, Jersey, Isle of Man and Mauritius, he has worked at director level across the offshore group including asset management, trust, operations and fund administration.
