Neuberger Berman has appointed senior vice president John Lambert as West Coast regional director for its wealth management business, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Lambert’s new role requires him to be based in San Francisco, the report said. Prior to joining the firm two years ago Lambert worked at KCM Investment Advisors, where he focused on high net worth and institutional business.

In other developments, in July this year Neuberger Berman, which managed in excess of $180 billion in assets as of 31 March 2010, launched a Dublin-domiciled UCITS fund investing in global equities on an unconstrained basis.
