Neuberger Berman Announces New AsiaPac Distribution Head
Neuberger Berman has announced the appointment of
Nick Hoar as head of distribution for Asia-Pacific with
immediate effect.
Hoar, managing director and part of the management team that led
the firm's European client franchise, shall relocate to Hong Kong
from London for the role. He takes over from Tony Edwards, who
has left the company for another opportunity. In this position,
Hoar will focus on institutional and intermediary clients and
report to
Andrew Komaroff, the chief operating officer and head of
global distribution.
"We are seeing increased interest in our firm and its
capabilities across all of Asia-Pacific, and adding [Hoar] is an
important step in continuing our commitment to serve clients in
this part of the world," said Komaroff in a statement.
The new position does not cover Japan and Korea, which are led by
Ryo Ohira in Tokyo.
