Geneva-based American Express Bank (Switzerland), part of the American Express Group has reported a first-half net profit increase of 24 per cent to SFr3.3 million ($2.7 million) on 17 per cent higher revenues of SFr16.3 million. Client assets under management at the bank, which has around 60 employees, were SFr4.6 billion at 31 December 2005.
