Natixis Global Asset Management Gets A Makeover

The organisation is making a series of name changes and service offerings.

Natixis Global Asset Management has changed its name to Natixis Investment Managers in a bid to highlight its multi-affiliate business model.

Natixis Investment Managers offers investment solutions from investment managers, while also providing support to help clients build portfolios to meet their long-term goals, the firm said in a statement.

Natixis Asset Management, a Paris-based affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, is also rebranding, unveiling a new name in 2018. All other affiliates of Natixis Investment Managers will retain their current brands.

Active thinking
Natixis Investment Managers is also launching an "active thinking" platform to illustrate how it uses diverse views and challenges traditional approaches so as to achieve best portfolio solutions for clients.

“Our new name and brand platform better showcase our business model and the value we bring to clients by offering leading active investment solutions combined with the research and consultation they need to build and manage their portfolios,” said Jean Raby, chief executive of Natixis Investment Managers. “Providing clients with access to a range of investment managers, each with its own unique process and culture, helps capitalise on the diverse and unconventional thinking that can lead to alpha generation."

Natixis Investment Institute
Natixis is also setting up what is called the Natixis Investment Institute. This will build on the behavioural research of its centre for investor insight, portfolio research and analytics of its portfolio research and  consulting group, and more generally its market trend analysis and forecasting for clients.

The institute will take advantage of new developments in data analysis and visualisation to study those relationships, using existing data gathered over the past five years through 25 surveys with 50,000 respondents and more than 6,000 portfolios the firm has analysed.

Headquartered in Paris and Boston, Natixis Investment Managers is a subsidiary of Natixis. Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, Natixis is a subsidiary of BPCE, a banking group based in France.
