NN Investment Partners Appoints Senior Portfolio Manager

The Dutch asset manager has made a key impact investing hire.

NN Investment Partners has appointed Willem Schramade as senior portfolio manager for impact investing.

Schramade joins from Robeco, where he worked as a global equity analyst focusing on the industrial and materials sectors since 2007.

In recent years, he has driven the adoption of environmental, social and governance factors, integrating a strong focus on the materiality aspects of valuation and investment processes.

Before Robeco, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and General Electric.

Schramade will be responsible for managing the company’s impact investing strategy together with Huub van der Riet, lead portfolio manager. He will report to Hendrik-Jan Boer, head of NN Investment Partners’ sustainable equity group.

“Willem’s arrival expands and strengthens our team further in an area where we see increasing interest from clients,” said Jeroen Bos, head of equity specialities.

This publication is awaiting confirmation as to whether Schramade is taking on a newly-created role or succeeding someone at the firm.
