NAB Private Wealth, the wealth management subsidiary of National Australia Bank, has signed a partnership with the Rugby Union Players Association to provide athletes financial advice.

The deal will see one of Australia's largest private banks providing RUPA members with personal banking, finance, investment, wealth management, risk protection, estate planning, trust, philanthropy and strategic advice. NAB has a dedicated team that supports the endeavours of sports and entertainment figures in Australia.

"We understand that agents and managers are an important part of our clients' futures, and we partner with these advisors to ensure our clients' careers -- and finances -- stay on track," said Gary McMahon, private client director at NAB Private Wealth.

The duration and financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
