Moelis & Company, the international financial services firm, has completed its acquisition of Hong Kong-based financial advisor Asia Pacific Advisers.

The takeover was first announced early this year and is meant to help complement Moelis' growing business in the region, the company said in a statement.

"Moelis will provide clients in Asia with knowledge and advice about local markets and, at the same time, provide clients in markets outside Asia with counsel about the region," commented Ken Moelis, the chief executive of the company.

APA offers a wide range of advisory services to corporations, institutions, and professional investors in the Asia-Pacific, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets advisory, and restructuring. It was established in early 2009.
