Merrill Lynch in the US has appointed Chris Wolfe as chief investment officer for its ultra high net worth business, which caters to retail brokerage clients with at least $10 million in assets to invest. Mr Wolfe was most recently partner and portfolio manager at Dover Management, a US-based investment manager. Prior to that, he was with JP Morgan Chase. Mr Willis will report to John Thiel, head of private banking and investment group at the global wealth management unit, and to Michael O'Keeffe, head of global private client investment management and guidance.
