Mediobanca Adds To Wealth Management Senior Line-up
The Milan-headquartered group has added to the senior ranks of its wealth management team.
Italy's Mediobanca Group has strengthened the management team of its Wealth Management Division with the addition of Carlo Giausa as deputy general manager and central manager of Wealth Management, Advisory & Solutions of CheBanca!, reporting to general manager Lorenzo Bassani.
The firm said the addition of Giausa will strengthen the organisational structure of the business side. Giausa will work alongside Duccio Marconi, deputy general manager and central manager of the Fas network, and Gianluca Talato, deputy general manager and central commercial manager of the branches network, and will provide an important contribution in terms of defining the investment product offering to be marketed by the two distribution networks.
Giausa has also been appointed as Mediobanca Group head of Wealth Management Global Offering, reporting in this case to Mediobanca Group general manager Francesco Saverio Vinci. In this role Giausa will also ensure that the Group’s private networks, Mediobanca Private Banking and CMB Monaco develop synergically, by exploiting internal synergies within the Group and leveraging on the distinctive Private & Investment Bank model.
Giausa has 30 years experience of wealth management, serving in roles of growing responsibility in leading financial institutions. Previously, he worked at Banca Sella, where he was appointed head of Wealth and Asset Management in 2020. Before that, he acquired a decade of experience working for FinecoBank, where he served as head of Investment Services and Private Banking, working closely with the private advisors network. He has also worked as part of the general management of Unicredit Private Asset Management SGR and as head of the Unicredit Private Banking Wealth Advisory Division.
