Media Fund Appoints Barclays Wealth MD to Board

Ingenious Media Active Capital, the £150 million ($297 million) media investment fund, appointed Bryan Dix to its board of directors with effect from 24 January 2008. Mr Dix is a managing director with Barclays Wealth and former chief executive of the Walbrook Group. A chartered tax advisor, Mr Dix was senior partner of accountant Deloitte & Touche's Guernsey office. In 2003 he led a management buyout of Deloitte’s offshore Walbrook Group business, which had offices in Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man. Walbrook, which provided trust and company administration services, was sold to Barclays Wealth last year. Earlier this month IMAC appointed Mike Luckwell to replace former BSkyB chief executive Tony Ball as its chairman. There is around £50 million of the IMAC fund still left to spend.
