Mayfair Private Opens Dubai Office

The provider of bespoke private client services has opened an office in Dubai, adding to its existing presence in London.

Mayfair Private, which is wholly owned by international law firm Mishcon de Reya, has pushed into the Middle East with a Dubai-based subsidiary, offering private advisory services. The opening of the office was driven by client demand, it said.

The Dubai team is led by Deepak Malhotra, who joined from Barclays Wealth in Dubai, where he was a managing director within the private bank. Malhotra is a chartered accountant, chartered tax advisor and member of the Society of Tax and Estate Practitioners. In addition to Barclays, he has previously worked at Deloitte and Grant Thornton in the UK.

The organisation says it offers “bespoke solutions for its clients” on issues including succession planning, family governance, international structuring and asset protection. It does not offer investment advice or investment management services.

Mishcon de Reya took sole ownership of Mayfair Private in 2016. It was previously part of a joint partnership.
