Martin Currie Adds Funds To Cofunds Platform

Investment firm Martin Currie's Global Resources, Pan-European Opportunities and Japan Mid-Cap funds  - sub funds of Martin Currie's Sicav fund - are now available from independent investment platform Cofunds.

Launched in December 2005 by the international investment firm, the Global Resources fund is managed by Duncan Goodwin and Chris Butler and specialises in energy, basic materials and utilities sectors. The Japan Mid-Cap, managed by Paul Danes, focuses on under-researched companies while the Pan-European fund, Dr Eric Woehrling and Stewart Higgins, picks stocks within the €0.5 - €10 billion market capitalisation band.

"We are pleased to make the Martin Currie Sicavs available as we have seen high demand for these esoteric offshore funds from advisers. Cofunds has a very strong partnership with Martin Currie and we are delighted they have chosen to extend access to advisors on Cofunds," said Russell Lancaster, director of fund manager relationships at Cofunds.
