Mayban Trustees Berhad, the Malaysian firm which is part of Maybank, has appointed Badirul Ismail at its new chief executive, Bernama.com reports.

Badirul Ismail was latterly Maybank’s head of private wealth management, a position he had held since 2007. He has been with the Maybank Group since 2003, when he joined as manager of Mayban Investment Management, before later going on to be appointed business development head.

In his new role at the helm of Mayban Trustees Berhad Badirul Ismail is charged with spearheading the growth of the business, garnering more market share and leveraging business synergies across the Maybank Group, according to the report.
