Douglas Close, well known at the Chancery bar in London for his international trusts work, is to join offshore law firm Mourant Ozannes as a consultant at the end of August.

Close’s role will be as global head of a new international private client practice, encompassing both contentious and non-contentious trust and private client work.

The post will be based in London although the remit will cover all the firm’s jurisdictions, which include the Cayman Islands, Jersey and Guernsey.
