London & Capital Mourns Leading Figure Tony McLoughlin

The director had worked at the UK-based business for almost three decades.
Tony McLoughlin, a director at London &
Capital, where he worked for more than 29 years, has
died.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tony
McLoughlin, our dear friend and colleague, on Friday 24 May.
Tony was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments,”
the UK-headquartered firm said in a statement
yesterday.
“As the current longest-serving member of the London & Capital
family, Tony dedicated almost 30 years to our firm with
unwavering commitment and resilience. His presence and
contributions will be profoundly missed by everyone who had the
privilege of knowing and working with him,” London & Capital
said.
London & Capital, founded about three decades ago, has become one
of the most prominent businesses serving high net worth
individuals, often with links to the US, creating a set of
complex cross-border issues requiring particular solutions.
L&C is one of a handful of businesses operating in this
area.
In late October 2019, the firm mourned another of its
major figures, Daniel Freedman, co-founder and managing
director.
This news service extends its condolences to Tony McLoughlin’s
family, colleagues and friends at this sad time.
