Lombard Odier Taps Chanel Executive As Marketing COO

The Swiss private bank has hired a high fashion industry expert to lead its marketing operations.

Lombard Odier has appointed Joséphine Verine from Chanel to the newly created role of chief operating officer, marketing, within its marketing and communications department.

Verine has been managing director of the haute couture division at Chanel for the last three years. She has more than 20 years of experience in the luxury sector, having held a number of senior management roles in marketing, communications and retail at Dior, Céline, Armani and Louis Vuitton.

Based in Geneva, Verine will be responsible for overseeing marketing operations and project management across units, markets and departments. She will also oversee events, publications, editorial content and client experience. She will report to executive vice president and chief branding officer Fabio Mancone.

“Joséphine Verine brings to Lombard Odier her valuable expertise and sensibility to luxury clients’ relationship management and service,” Lombard Odier said in a statement.
