Lombard Odier Makes Top Fiduciary Services Appointment

Swiss private bank Lombard Odier has appointed Lodewijk van Pol as its head of fiduciary management at its offices in the Netherlands, recruiting him from Towers Perrin, where he worked as head of asset management consulting.

Prior to his Towers Perrin role, Mr van Pol worked at Zurich Life for four years as a portfolio manager for various fixed income and equity portfolios.

“We want to play a meaningful role in the market for small to mid-sized pension funds. We have all the skills necessary to be the private bank and fiduciary manager for the institutional world,” said Michel Alofs, managing director at Lombard Odier in the Netherlands.

Lombard Odier has 2000 staff and offers clients a broad range of asset management advice, financial products and specialised services in Switzerland and abroad.
