Lombard Odier Continues Recruitment Drive With Senior Hire

Geneva-headquartered Lombard Odier Investment Managers has appointed Grant Peterkin to the newly-created role of senior portfolio manager on its global and emerging fixed income team.

Based in Geneva, Peterkin will oversee the firm’s range of sovereign strategies with a particular focus on the total return bond fund, and will report to Gregor MacIntosh, head of the global and emerging fixed income team.

Peterkin joins from Ignis Asset Management, where he co-managed the firm’s absolute return government bond strategy. He has previously worked with MacIntosh at Standard Life, where the duo won various awards for their funds’ performance.

Back in February LOIM combined its global and emerging fixed income teams and hired Salman Ahmed as a strategist.

The firm, a unit of Lombard Odier Group, managed SFr38 billion ($40 billion) on behalf of clients at the end of December 2012. The overall group has 24 offices in 17 countries, with SFr164 billion in assets under management overall.
