Lazard Soft-Launches Emerging Markets Fund

Lazard Asset Management has soft-launched the Dublin-domiciled Lazard Emerging Markets Core Equity Fund, according to media reports.

Various outlets say that the fund, managed by Stephen Russell, Paul Rogers and Thomas Boyle, and supported by John Mariano and Celine Woo, will aim to achieve long-term capital growth by investing primarily in companies located in emerging market countries.

Lazard declined to comment when contacted by this publication.

Lazard Asset Management had £93.3 billion (around $143 billion) in assets under management, as at 31 December 2012.
