Landmark Properties, one of the UAE's leading property consultants, has appointed private banker Mark DeSario as senior managing director - corporate strategy and business development. He will design and implement the company's future growth strategy through expansion as well as identifying potential strategic investment and business partners throughout the region and internationally. Prior to joining Landmark Properties Mr DeSario founded a consulting company in the US servicing clients looking to grow their brand abroad. Previously he was a senior executive in both Merrill Lynch's Global Private Client and Asset Management Groups where he spent most of his time working with private bankers non-US clients and building local asset management companies in markets such as India, Indonesia, Australia, Brazil and Japan. He is a CPA having qualified with Deloitte & Touche. Over the past three years Landmark Properties has achieved tremendous success in the Dubai real estate market by servicing local and foreign investors seeking to participate in this rapidly expanding market.
