LGT Wealth Management Targets Manchester
LGT Wealth Management, part of the LGT Group, a private banking and asset management group controlled by the Liechtenstein Princely Family, makes senior hires.
UK wealth manager LGT Wealth Management has made three new appointments in its Manchester office as part of its regional growth plan: Simon Reeks, Fahim Amdani, and Michael Waddington.
The hires follow the opening of its Manchester office in March, the firm said in a statement.
Reeks is an investment manager with over 30 years’ experience working with high net worth private clients, pension funds, corporations, family trusts and charities across the UK. Prior to joining LGT Wealth Management, he was most recently a partner at UK wealth manager Evelyn Partners and formerly head of private clients at Midas Investment Management.
Amdani is joining as a wealth manager from Swiss private bank UBS, where he was a director. Prior to that held private banking posts at JP Morgan and Barclays, the firm added. With 14 years of working in financial services, he is experienced in advising high net worth families on their investments across all asset classes and on their multi-generational wealth structuring.
Waddington is joining the team as office manager, after spending the last seven years with Evelyn Partners. With more than 40 years’ operational experience within the stockbroking and wealth management industry, he will assist clients and build the client support team in Manchester.
“Long-term investment in our regional offices is essential for sustainable growth. It not only allows us to attract and retain top talent, but it enables us to build robust local networks and infrastructure,” Andrew Davies, partner and head of regions at LGT Wealth Management, said. “By strengthening our presence across the regions, we can better serve our clients located outside London, deepen our understanding of local markets and foster closer relationships with clients in these regions.”
LGT Wealth Management aims to continue strengthening its team in Manchester, bringing greater expertise to clients in the Northwest region.
