Julius Baer Makes Top-Level China Appointment

Swiss private bank Julius Baer, which has stated that Asia is its “second home market”, has appointed Jacqueline Dong as team head and senior relationship manager for the Chinese market, this publication can confirm.

She was a former managing partner at IAM and Silverhorn Investment Advisors. She has also been an executive director at Credit Suisse.

In her new role, Dong reports to Kaven Leung, chief executive officer for North Asia at Julius Baer, who said of the appointment in an email to WealthBriefingAsia: “We are delighted that Jackie has joined Julius Baer here in Hong Kong. Jackie is a seasoned professional well-respected for her experience and knowledge in the China market.”

As reported previously, Julius Baer last week started to migrate the assets it acquired over a year ago in the purchase of Merrill Lynch’s non-US wealth management business.
