JWG Names New Managing Director

The financial services think-tank has made a senior hire to help drive its change management platform.
JWG, a London-based think-tank for financial services regulation, has appointed Blythe Barber as managing director.
Barber brings over 12 years' experience in capital markets, having held a number of senior positions including director at Expand Research, part of the Boston Consulting Group, managing principal at Capco and senior trader at Schneider Trading Associates.
In the newly-created role, Barber will focus on JWG's RegDelta platform, a regulatory change management solution. The platform provides an up-to-date ‘golden source’ library containing the documentation required of financial institutions to maintain control and manage regulatory change. It also offers search and retrieval tools, allowing users to find and prioritise the regulations of interest to them.
“I am delighted to have another strong leader on board the team. As the industry tightens the nuts and bolts of G20’s regulatory framework, he will help our clients face a pile of paperwork more than three Eiffel Towers tall by offering solutions which enable them to spot, know, assess and address every piece of relevant regulation,” said JWG's chief executive, PJ Di Giammarino.
