JP Morgan Expands Fort Worth PWM Office

JP Morgan has hired John Hobart – latterly of Bernstein Global Wealth Management – as a vice president at its Fort Worth, Texas office.

Hobart will lead a team advising high net worth clients on investment management, trust administration and banking. He reports to Jeff King, managing director.

At BGWM, Hobart was a vice president and financial advisor. Prior to that he was a partner at the executive search firm Paul R Ray & Co, and was a co-founder of Ray Partners.

In other news about the firm, last month it added an office in Tampa, Florida, led by Royce Reed, who transferred in from another office, and hired three bankers in the region from other institutions.

JP Morgan Private Wealth Management has around $150 billion in total client assets, 86 offices in the US, and just under 900 advisors.
