JP Morgan Boosts Oklahoma City PWM Office

JP Morgan has appointed Linda Kissler as vice president/wealth manager for its private wealth management office in Oklahoma City.
Ms Kissler was most recently a partner responsible for client development at Marlin capital. In her new role at JP Morgan she will advise high net worth clients in areas such as investment management and wealth transfer. She will report to Royce Reed, market manager for the Oklahoma City office.
News emerged last month that JP Morgan plans to expand its workforce of private bankers to capitalise on clients moving out of banks hit hard by the financial crisis. “We are investing in people and we hope to add an additional 10 per cent in the next year,” Catherine Keating, chief executive of the private banking unit, is reported to have said at the Reuters Global Wealth Management Summit.
In its third quarter results JP Morgan said revenue from its private bank was $639 million, up by 1 per cent from the same period a year ago, while revenues from private wealth management fell by 4 per cent to $339 million.
Assets under management at JP Morgan stood at $1.3 trillion, a rise of 9 per cent, or $106 billion.
