Investec has made a new addition to its growth and acquisition finance team with the appointment of Robin Aldridge.

Investec has hired Robin Aldridge to its growth and acquisition finance team to support the growth of UK mid-market businesses through its asset-based lending and integrated debt offering.

Aldridge, previously a relationship manager at RBS's invoice finance business, will focus on portfolio management, working directly with mid-market companies.

“Robin is joining the team during an exciting time for the business. Many of our clients find that traditional bank lending is not available on structures that support shareholder change, growth and investment simultaneously, making our integrated debt offering an important means of supporting the growth of mid-market business in a sustainable way,” said Gary Edwards, whom Aldridge will report to. 

The growth and acquisition finance team offers revolving and amortising senior cash flow lending, mezzanine finance and minority equity on a standalone or integrated basis, with values ranging between £5 million ($7.58 million) and £50 million. The integrated debt offering launched in 2006.
