International Law Firm Expands Singapore Presence

International law firm White & Case has added Charlie Wilson to the team of counsels for its Singapore office.

Mr Wilson, who was previously from specialist finance group Linq Asia Capital in Indonesia, will be working on restructuring, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions activities, including the structured finance duties he specialised in during the two years at Linq. He had also worked with one of White & Case's key Southeast Asian clients, the Sampoerna group, as counsel.

"[Mr Wilson's] wide, hands-on experience over the last decade on Indonesian transactions ideally complements White & Case's track record in Indonesia," said Singapore executive partner Doug Peel in a statement. "Charlie's experience will be invaluable to White & Case's Indonesian clients, as well as international clients looking to do business in Indonesia," he added.
