Interactive Data Releases New Version Of PrimeTerminal

Interactive Data Corporation, the Massachusetts-based technology firm, has added to the wealth management tools available through its managed solutions business with the release of PrimeTerminalSM Professional - a customisable financial desktop service designed to streamline workflow for wealth managers and private banking professionals.

The new programme includes a transaction viewer which enables advisors to view portfolio transactions, and support for portfolio performance assessment and measurement within PrimeTerminal, according to the firm. Additionally, data from a range of new exchanges and extended records for funds offered by Morningstar have been incorporated into PrimeTerminal’s content.

“The ‘Times’ and ‘Sales’ views can now also show OMX broker codes, and real-time data from the Oslo Stock Exchange can be presented in the form of full order books, enabling customers to view full market depth,” the firm said in a statement.

Menus and preset features have also been redesigned following user feedback with the aim of making the views and lists easier to customise, and individual users can access a user entitlement view, showing the content and features that have been enabled.

“Enhancing PrimeTerminal with new functionality and user features is a key priority for us,” says Carsten Dirks, managing director, Interactive Data Managed Solutions.

“Access to data and features must be intuitive, allowing wealth managers to concentrate their efforts on providing financial advice to their clients.”
