Cara Mossington has joined Chicago-based Inheriting Wisdom.

Mossington comes on board from a Forbes 400 family office. Previously she spent 10 years at Northern Trust where she created and executed confidential client networking and educational programs responding to the feelings of isolation and vulnerability experienced by many affluent families.

Dr. James Weiner and Dr. Carolyn Friend, a husband and wife team, co-founded Inheriting Wisdom, a Chicago-based specialty consulting firm. The company focuses solely on a critical component of legacy planning through a self-discovery process that guides wealthy families to design a plan to pass on their legacy with intention. The pair also trains wealth advisors on legacy planning strategies.
