India-Based ASK Private Wealth Adds Senior Leaders In Singapore, Dubai

The organisation is backed by funds of US-based Blackstone Group.

ASK Private Wealth, part of India-headquartered ASK Asset & Wealth Management Group, has appointed Prateek Pant as market head for the Middle East and Africa. Separately, it also has named Prashant Tayal as market head for Southeast Asia.

Pant, based in Dubai, has more than 28 years’ experience in banking and financial services in India and the Middle East. Before joining ASK, he was chief business officer at WhiteOak Capital. Before that, he co-founded and led the products division at Sanctum Wealth Management.

In other roles, Pant served at RBS Private Bank, Franklin Templeton, ABN Amro Bank, HSBC, Bank of America and Commercial Bank of Qatar in the domains of branch banking, credit cards, asset and wealth management. 

Tayal is based in Singapore. Joining in ASK in March, he  brings more than 23 years of experience in the private banking and wealth management industry. Prior to this, Tayal was a director at Union Bancaire Privée, managing UHNW clients across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. His career includes roles at Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, JP Morgan in Singapore, and Citi Private Bank, Kotak Bank in India. 

The group has also made hires such as those of Vaibhav Sanghavi (CEO, ASK Hedge Solutions), Prateek Jain (director – finance and strategy), Shantanu Sahai (senior managing partner – private credit), and Jayant Jain (chief risk officer).
