India Bank Sponsors Forthcoming Polo Tournament

YES BANK, India's fourth largest private sector bank, has partnered with the Amateur Riders' Club, one of the oldest and largest private civilian horse riding clubs in India, to support a polo competition pitting India against Argentina.

The match, held on 24 march, will be held at the ARC Polo Ground, Mahalaxmi Race Course. The event has what YES BANK called “iconic status” in India.

The firm is joining other private banks in sponsoring and supporting sporting events as a way to build relationships and raise exposure of its brand. Notable examples around the world include France’s BNP Paribas, which sponsors a number of tennis tournaments, and UBS, which has sponsored Formula 1 motor racing.
