IQ-EQ Names New Global Operations Head

Adding to a spree of recent senior hires, IQ-EQ has named a former Amex "transformation" lead to oversee global growth.
Fast-growing investor services firm IQ-EQ has appointed Joanna Macleod as its new group chief operating officer to steer the next phase of growth.
Macleod will be London based and lead IQ-EQ’s global operations overseeing compliance and platform innovation across its 24 jurisdictions.
The investor services group provides compliance, administration, asset and advisory services to fund managers, multinationals, family offices and private clients across a global footprint, with assets under administration in excess of $500 billion.
The business has seen rapid expansion this year, notably in US and Asia markets, and Macleod will work alongside IQ-EQ’s chief technology officer Chris Robinson to boost the development of platform capabilities and client-facing apps, the group said.
A chartered accountant, she has worked at a number of global service organisations for over 20 years, including six years at American Express’ global business travel division, latterly as its chief transformation officer, according to her public profile.
“What attracted me to the role is IQ-EQ’s unique, disruptive and entrepreneurial culture," Macleod said.
