ICICI Bank, the Indian private sector lender, has partnered with two international credit card providers to launch a platinum card product designed for high net worth clients. 

Rubyx, the new product, offers dual benefits wherein clients get to receive two cards as part of their membership: the ICICI Rubyx credit card under American Express and the ICICI Bank Rubyx platinum chip credit card under MasterCard. Both are linked to a single account with a single statement and a single fee. Benefits from American Express and MasterCard include rewards points, complimentary airline tickets and access to exclusive airport lounges affiliated with both payment system providers. 

The card is designed for the growing affluent segment who want premium privileges and rewards, the company said in a press release. According to CTC Research, the Canadian travel statistics organisation, India's emerging affluent urban middle class is forecast to grow to over 500 million by 2025 and will command 60 per cent of the country's spending power. 

ICICI Bank is the second largest bank in India and has $115 billion in consolidated total assets as of 30 September 2011.
