Henderson Global Investors Adds Two To French Retail Team

London-based Henderson Global Investors' €15 billion (around $19 billion) property business has appointed Paul-Eric Perchaud and Julien Chaperon as portfolio managers for its French team.

Based in Paris and reporting to Ara Adjennian, both men will work across Henderson Property’s French retail portfolio.

Perchaud joins Henderson from Unibail-Rodamco, where he was a senior operating manager, responsible for a €1 billion French shopping centre portfolio, including Carré Sénart, Carroussel du Louvre and Palais des Congrès de Paris. In his new role, Perchaud will oversee the asset management of Henderson’s latest two additions to its French shopping centre portfolio - “Grand Quétigny Shopping Gallery” in Quétigny, Dijon (Burgundy) and “Ile Napoléon” in Mulhouse-Illzach (Alsace).

Chaperon joins from Klepierre, where he was responsible for the management of over €1 billion of assets, including French, Central European and Nordic shopping centres. In his new role, he will oversee assets within the Herald Fund Portfolio, including Centre Sud in Le Mans and Plein Air in Le Blanc Mesnil.

In other recent developments, at the start of this month Henderson Group said that its total assets under management at 31 March this year rose by £3.2 billion ($4.97 billion) from the start of the year to reach £68.9 billion, boosted by market movements and net flows into funds.
