Henderson Appoints Former Hermes Head For Senior Role

London-based Henderson Global Investors has appointed Rob Page as global head of marketing, to start this summer.

He will oversee the UK and European marketing, investment marketing, public relations and e-commerce teams, and lead efforts to ensure the firm’s global marketing activities in all channels and geographies are aligned.

Page will report to Greg Jones, head of pan-European retail, and will also work closely with Phil Wagstaff, head of global distribution, on brand and internal and external communications.

Previously, Page worked as head of marketing and communications at Hermes; he has also held senior marketing roles at Ignis and Liontrust. Between 2001 and 2008, he was marketing director at New Star Asset Management before it was acquired by Henderson in 2009.

At the end of 2012, Henderson Global Investors had some £65.7 billion ($100.7 billion) in assets under management.
