Dublin-headquarteredCarne Global Financial Services has boosted its London team with the hiring of Paul Ramsey as a principal consultant.

He joins Carne, an independent advisor to the global hedge fund and private wealth industries, from London IT consultancy Citisoft, where he led a series of consultancy projects for high profile fund managers, including Credit Suisse and Nomura Asset Management.

This appointment is the most recent of a number of new appointments in 2008. In March, the firm hired Sunil Chadda and Phil Kitto to lead the newly set up alternative investment and wealth management consultancy units in London.

In June, Christian Wells joined to get Carne’s Geneva office under way.
