Heartland Financial USA Names New Chief Financial Officer

New York-listed Heartland Financial USA has named Bryan McKeag as its new chief financial officer following the departure of John Schmidt in July.

McKeag most recently served as executive vice president – corporate controller and principal accounting officer for Associated Banc-Corp, a $24 billion bank holding company headquartered in Green Bay, WI. His experience includes executive finance positions with JP Morgan Chase & Co, and accounting and audit roles at KPMG.

Heartland Financial USA has a presence in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Colorado and Minnesota.
