HSBC Private Bank Cuts Zurich Jobs, Consolidates Activities In Geneva

HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) has cut around 40 jobs in Zurich and closed its back office in the Swiss town, centralising its activities in Geneva, WealthBriefing can confirm, following reports in the Swiss local media of the cutbacks.

The affected employees will be offered further employment in Geneva. Customer services have not been affected due to the changes, reports said.

HSBC Private Bank declined to comment further.
